Our programs
The first Montessori schools were known as Casa dei Bambini — “Children’s Houses” — and we intentionally create our classrooms to reflect that tradition. Our classrooms are filled with natural light and designed to feel warm, calm, and inviting. Wooden shelves line the rooms, each one carefully arranged with beautiful Montessori materials that are both purposeful and engaging. Every detail is intentional — from the natural furnishings to the thoughtfully prepared work spaces — creating an environment that feels peaceful, orderly, and inspiring for children.
Our teachers put great care and pride into preparing these classrooms each day. The environments are designed not only to welcome children, but to bring out their independence, confidence, and curiosity. In this kind of space, children feel comfortable taking on challenges, concentrating deeply, and doing work that reflects their very best effort.

Please call our office at any time regarding admissions, or contact us by email at office@firelandsmontessori.org. After this initial contact, the next step in our admissions process is doing an observation in one of our classrooms. This is when we will meet with you, share about Montessori education and answer any questions you might have. After the observation visit, there will be an opportunity for your child to spend time at the school. Finally, a formal application may then be submitted.
