Firelands Montessori Academy’s mission is to provide an educational environment for children that nurtures creativity, self-reliance, and respect in order to inspire a passion for lifelong learning. We also offer Art, Music, Spanish, Emotional Education and Physical Education. We have a commitment to cultural studies, science, and our academic expectations are individualized and rigorous.
Montessori Education is based on observation. The first step toward admittance is for you to come and see our school for yourself. We offer daily tours as well as open houses throughout the year. We would love to share our school with you!
Please call our office at 419-433-6181 x 2802 regarding admissions, or contact us by email at office@firelandsmontessori.org. After this initial contact, the next step in our admissions process is doing an observation in one of our classrooms. This is when we will meet with you, share about Montessori education and answer any questions you might have. After the observation visit, there will be an opportunity for your child to spend time at the school. Finally, a formal application may then be submitted.

Financial Aid / Scholarship
Firelands Montessori Academy is a non-public charter school, and the majority of the school’s funding comes from private tuition.

Firelands Montessori Academy participates in the Ed Choice Expansion Scholarship kindergarten and up.
