Nestled into the fantastic community of Huron, Ohio Firelands Montessori Academy has a wonderful, rich history. FMA has offered children Authentic Montessori Education in Northwest Ohio for over 45 years. FMA is lucky to have long-term treasured educators, partnered with more recently trained, talented co-teachers, creating a diverse and excellent faculty who help to make learning a joy every day at FMA.
The Montessori Method is a triangle of teacher, environment, and the child. When children are respected as individuals and given the opportunities to develop every aspect of their being to the highest potential, amazing things happen. The classrooms at Firelands Montessori Academy are buzzing with intellectual curiosity, care of the self, others, and the broader world. The same can be said for the parents of children at FMA. We view parents as partners and have a strong-knit, warm and welcoming community.
